Day trip to Dover Castle and Canterbury

                                                    After a very busy week, we took a mini trip into the country of Kent - known traditionally as " The Garden of England " and w e  choose two of the most visited sights in the region:  Dover  Castle and Canterbury city.          Dover Castle is one of the largest castles in the country that was strategically placed at the shortest crossing point to continental Europe. The castle is divided into several compartments, chronologically presented. We needed almost all day to visit the interior! The first section includes the Roman Lighthouse and St Mai Castro Church and is the oldest building of the castle. Stonehenge and Old Harry Rocks
